LOL just mean that the sort of environments you must be in lead to slips, falls and general battering of equipment
What was wrong with it JJ surely its just a pole LOL
Nice pics Malice
Remember the vast majority of people here using this lens dont want to/cant afford the mega expensive lenses you use or have no need.
There arent exactly many alternatives in the ultra wide angle market either unless you want to go fish eye. For most people the extra for...
So you can buy 5-6 Manfrottos for the price of one Giotto.
As he said its light amateur use. IMO its like me reccomended a £3K HP server with Server 2003 as a computer in a one person business. Sure its better but its overkill
I wasnt bashing your images by the way dude. Just assumed my monitor was off thats all.
Another one to consider the 85mm or 80mm f/1.8 which ever canon do would be pretty good for portraits and the like
Get the Sigma bunny you wont be dissapointed I love it so far, this is on a D80 but cant see it being any different?
LOL ahhh right I just assumed my monitor was doing the usual, they just look darker than normal. Doesnt look too bad the last one but blow it up with the USM on it
Nice pics will view them when I get home my TFT here is so s**t it hurts. All pictures look mega dark because of it.
Nifty Fifty FTW. I believe the can 50mm f/1.8 is only like £50
Thought about the Sigma 10-20mm Ultra wide angle? I bought one a few days ago. Havent tested it properly but...
I might be wrong but it depends what the aperture will go up to at what focal length. According to the specs the Aperture is from f/2.8-f/11
When the aperture is bigger i.e f/2.8 you get most blurring and a smaller focal point.
Excellent photos. I like the last one as well
Will have a read about the Manfrotto JJ just a bit wary on uneven ground it would not be majorly stable.
Thats the one I was looking at Lee, will have a look at that range Mcbunny
I am FAR FAR from a Pro mate, just I tried a cheap one with the D80 and with the 80-200mm Lens I have been using thats about 2.2KG worth of weight. It nearly fell a few times on the cheap tripods when the wind blew and wasnt majorly stable. If I bust the lens I have to pay someone for it...
Arse should have been in Tech chat can someone move in please.
Looking to spend a bit more to be honest. I have used a couple of cheap tripods the past few months and was not impressed felt like they were going to fall over. Will have a look though
Thinking its about time I bought a Tripod to use with my D80.
I have been looking at some Manfrotto ones but is a bit mind boggling to be honest, I want something that is fairly portable to carry around but still nice and stable. I guess up to about £130-150.
What do you guys use?
I personally would not go back to a point and shoot either. Some of the pictures look good. But that one at ISO 1600 is HORRID. I know as you said its a tiny sensor etc but a camera phone could produce a better picture that that.
I never really used to take a camera when out on the lash...
Just because the Canon is more fiddly doesnt mean it is better. Its whats behind and camera and the lens thats important IMO
Fish Eye is great I love it BUT it would seldom be used, so Wide angle sigma 10-20 FTW. IMO 4mm is a bit too wide angle LOL.
Inbreeding has a lot to answer for.
I dont see the point in 5 sheds? Its basically braging rights IMO, saying you have 5 cars even if they are all average at best.
PMSL at Cletus and the no driving thing. classic I tell thee.
No need for that many fans IMO, massive overkill.
I run mine at 3.5Ghz and have done for a months months with a Freezer cooler, Push and pull 120MM fan configuration and the PSU doing some work as well. Runs solid as a rock
