As quoted before, really kicking myself I didn't buy your ITB's when Dan was selling them!
Seats are nice and comfy to drive in, I tried several types including the Sabelt Tarus Clio cup racer ones. Found these ideal for my height, build, and visibility. They are not everyones cup of tea but I...
It's not too bad as I work 5 miles away, but yeah, it does get to you when getting the shopping etc, pain in the ass to get out of them seats when cars park tight against you, but i've always wanted to do it so said sod it! lets have some fun lol.
Might look into the wheel conversion, it's not...
Yeah I agree, looked good at the time and was a mini project to keep me from being bored lol. No track experiance with this car, always wanted to do it up so will put my hands up if I bin it on my first track day... :o Not looking to hammer it till I've sorted out moving house, then have it...
Car has had a few changes in the past few months, mainly some strippage and bits of scafolding installed :o
Car as standard:

Re: Possible new splitter found!!
Collected mine today.. chap turns up with a smaller than expected square box... once he opened it I then realised it was flexible lol... shall be fitting mine this weekend :)
Got my renewal quote and its gone from £330 to £375... I ask if they can match or better any other price and the chap said yes, but nothing silly like £150... so does that mean they can easily budge £100 off my quote???
Anywho... When you send them a quotation from a competitor, how do they go...

I used shrink wrap after hearing the stories about wires sparking and catching on fire lol. Each wire with a layer, then one ontop to secure into place. :)

The Right toggle button is connected together with one resistor, then split off with the blue and grey wires. The...
I think there are a few threads about this, I think the jist of is that with standard belts, you have some movement so the chances of this are less, but harnesses give no adjustment to your body. Your pinned in with 4 or 5 points remember.
If you roll the car and the roof caves in, bye bye head... to be blunt. The harness holds you in tight and there wont be any time to adjust the straps etc.
Will be alot more noisey with the exhaust, plus if you take the rear quater panels out, will hear every stone that chips up inside wheel arch.
Can fit much more in when doing trips to Ikea too... Bonus :)
Can you not weld some lugs onto the Recaro subframe then re-spray to tart it up? I've just installed some Cobra subframes and sliders and they sit prety sweet :)
Had my Cobra's installed last week but the resistors were not put in... Can I simply slot them into the plugs or will i need to disconnect the battery and drain for 30min?
I remember reading about someone who did this to his steering wheel and it sparked/damaged the wires, hence asking.

If only this was next week, would have my cage all painted and ready for show :( lol. Might be able to pop over, isn't this at the same time as the F1?
Want to cover the whole rear in boot carpet as a respray will be a bit too pricey atm. Is this ebay stuff any good?

Any other types to look for?
Cheers :)
All of my rear seats are out of my 182 now. The front's will be next week at some point, PM me as I might be selling them if all goes well. I'm 20min from Brum land.
