Nothing, not been able to sell my Focus TDCI, and to be honest I prefer the focus, reason for buying the clio was I got worried about the gearbox on the focus but ive had it checked out, just clutch release bearing.
Also wanted to downsize but clio is a little too much of a downsize for me, and...
Up for sale, serviced, new foglights and had wheel bearing changed.

Will take £2800
ta st3ve but my current insurance policy dont like the mods, the interior etc came up well I removed all seats, carpets and plastic strim from the back and scrubbed them like mad with proper interior cleaner, worked a treat carpets came up loevly and clean and used some plastic pvc cleaner my...
Ok insurance is being changed back to my focus TDCI, much prefer the car having driven the clio for a few hundred miles its not for me, drives great and ive spend a few hundred on it servicing, cambelt, bearing and several hours cleaning it inside and out!
Stil awaiting new foglight on order...
looks like a terrible photoshop to me, a whole 2min work?
Cropped and slightly zoomed in, pen tool or lasso around the clio, put a crap filter on the background or just reduce contrast and colour settings, then enhance contrast levels on the clio till it looks un-naturally shiny.
Check out HDR...
Remaps are very effective with the VW Diesel engines ive noticed! Remap will often see 35bhp+ plus the ride and build quality are great!
They arn't the quickest around by a fair bit but terms of practicality, lasting value and good performance they are very good all round!
Well this is quick but I might be selling the clio already! Had loads of good news about jobs ive applied for, all of which will require a fair few motorway miles so back to a diesel!
Will be up for sale soon I should think, having cambelt and wheel bearing done tomorrow anyway.
Ok so due to the previous owner being a bricky he used to carry alot of crap in the boot, almost filled a dysons worth of rubble from the wheel well and under the carpets/back seat area. Removed all rear shelf sides, back seats boot carpet bottom and sides and spent several hours scrubbing like...
Hey ive just removed the tow bar that came fitted on my clio when i purchased it, a pretty heavy duty thing with 8 bolts and a plate on it, all wires intact too.
Was wondering would it fit a Megane?
Also it will be up for sale soon (awaiting my paypal payment for membership to clear) so if...
Well I was abit worried as it was a decent price and then haggled down due to lack of some history and needing a new front spot light.
Got a HPI check on it, contacted previous owner and vosa checked mileage was all right etc...
All came back fine just needed tlc, service now done, the exhaust...
Today saw the clio have its first oil change in I dont know how long..care to guess? Also had new a&o filters
Tomorrow ill be getting out the autoglym high resin and autoglym aquawax, but it had a decent shampoo over today and looks lovely and shiny :)
sorted, just changed oil filter, air filter and oil :)
Old stuff was very very black, the previous owner didn't know when it was last serviced lmao and its been 40k since last stamp
mmmm....
Ive previously had a 1.4 16v Mk4 Golf and it was dangerously underpowered, 75bhp doesn't sound too bad but the MK4 Golf is heavy!
Mrs used to have a 1.0 polo which is the most underpowered car ive ever been in, 55bhp or pure POWWWERRR
Ok im servicing my clio today, it's a mk2 1.4 16v and i've removed the airfilter housing to open up and replace the air filter element.
The housing itself seems sealed, thought it might pull apart but no luck their either, no screw holes nothing (like on previous cars ive owned) do they open...
epic build, reminded me of my mates old mini which was a racing green SE, I also had a mini as my first car a few years back, a 1990 checkmate and have seen a fair few of these vtec minis at MITP and other pod shows to know just how epic they are!
To give people an idea how light they are, 2 of...
Collected the car today, altho the service light isn't on the previous owner said its been a year since serviced and last years MOT was on 44k, its now on 61k so im guessing a sevice would be advisable. Either way first thing tommorow will be plugs, filters and oil change.
No record of a...
Try a specialist, brentacre are very good for VWs (have a few mates with them) and modified cars, they dont charge any more if you lower or do any visual mods and allow a percentage of power mods e.g. 10% power insurance overall in mods with no increase in premium!
Ah sweet yer, well May next year my stupid insurance will of ended with a couple years NCB so a faster car wil be an option!
Yes suttle mods will be best, main one I plan to do is colour coded bumper strips and side strips. Maybe colour code the dash strip (the one above passanger glove box)...
