I read through your thread, nice car uve got there its coming along nicely.
Ive got a ph1 172 running ktec bodies, gen90 and catcams (421) and its great mate. You will love the sound of them, its a epic sound, you wont regret getting them fitted.
There figures are alittle mad, I believe with usual bits done like cat back system, decat or sport cat and filter, along with the cams and remap its good for 190+ id say.
When I bought my the maps etc for my 182, they were emailed directly to me. Both the cal and rst files.
I had a battery charger on my battery while I did the remap. I would read the original cal and rst files so you have a backup should anything go wrong.
The rst takes longest to read and...
Update:
Been and seen Mick at Diamond Motors and had him fit my engine dynamic cams along with new belts etc.
Its currently unmapped for the cams but its booked with at Paul at RS Tuning for Wednesday next week so he can work his magic on it and get it running the best it can.
The idle now...
I thought it was you, that some time back thinking about it. I did love your v6 It was spot on.
I'm sure he will get everything spot on it. I'm looking forward to getting the cams in and mapped up
I thought it was time for an update.
I've got my 182 booked in with Mick (diamondmotors) to have the belts etc changed and he is also fitting my engine dynamic cams for me.
Then hopefully if funds allow I'm going to give RS tuning a call and see if they can fit me in for a mapping session...
Ive started polishing up, gave up at min haha,
Your looking forward to them, I am loads, alittle worried thou, just cos not many people run these cams but it will be interesting to get them in and running. Last time I was up at RS Tuning I got talking to Paul and ask him about these cams and hes...
Im not sure what im doing with the inlets let, ive started polishing the spare one up, but we see what I think when ive done it, ive i dont like it I might pop it on ebay or something.
Ive still got to get the cams in and mapped up yet. With xmas fast approaching money is getting alittle tight...
I doubled up two tie wraps and put them around the bottom of the box and pulled it over slighty away from the water hoses.
Im happy with mine, the filter doesnt really get dirty either, ive checked it out once while its been in there and still looks as good as new.
Yeh im happy with the...
This is a pic of the phase 1 box fitted to my 182,
In this pic the box is sat to the left more than i have it now, ive pulled it over more closer to the battery.
I found putting the hose on to the throttle body first, then lowing the box in bottom first close to the radiator, then roll it...
I mapped my car with the RS Tuner kit and was really impressed with it.
I first mapped the car to have the pop and bang map and I was impressed and I also mapped it without the pop and bang map just wondering if I could tell and difference and in my opinion I could tell a clear difference...
He is on this forum, i think his username is fastchips,
Have a nosy on the for sale section, you sometimes can pick up a second hand RS Tuner for good money, buy a license and map, map your car then sell the RS Tuner on again for the same price you bought it for.
The RS Tuner is a good bit of kit and you will be happy with the results.
Henk will reply to your email, he usually replies in the early hours of the morning around 2-3ish, so give him chance to mail you back mate.
As you may or may not know, You will need the license for the kit ( if you...
Hi buddy
Welcome to the site,
The RS Tuner kit is a good piece of kit, for mapping and fault finding. Ive used one myself on my 182 and it was well worth it. I could tell from the min I drove it after mapping it that it was mapped, pulled harder and for longer and the lifted rev limit is nice...
My EP3 was on tein coilovers with fast road setup and good tyres and yeh it handled well I was impressed, but I felt that when I lowered my cup just on springs it out handled the ep3, then when I changed to coilovers it only got better.
Been a while since i updated my thread,
Hopefully I will be getting my cams fitted soon along with a trip to RS Tuning for him to work his magic and map it up.
Ive bought a new lambha sensor, along with some new plugs, fitler, and oil, so will do that before I had up to RS Tuning,
Nice 1 buddy, sounds like a nice ph1 you have there

I myself came from a ep3 to a 182 and not looked back since,

They have called me a few times,
I remember once they called me and said there from Microsoft and that my machine had problems etc etc and they could fix it if I gave them some information about my system and access to my pc, I knew it was a scam but thought, hmmm ill play along, this went on...
Yeah i had this problem when mapping my mates 172 with the RS Tuner.
I checked everything, from anti virus software etc on laptop was turned off, battery charger was on the car and charging correctly, then only after 3-4 it worked
I emailed henk and said the following
" But i have a problem...
