I've never seen these anywhere. You may be able to get aftermarket ones but base plates are generally a terrible fit and the carbon film they use is just as bad.
So is yours the one that was in french car mag last month?
I'd say to get the parts painted if it is, it looked spot on. Plus white hides many faults in paintwork so shouldn't be too expensive to do.
Great, I have a few sets of focals I might fit, woulldn't mind some better quality but don't want to weigh the car down with subs and sound proofing like my old mondeo.
As above, sounds like overheating. It will be turning itself off to avoid any damage. Try using a smaller good quality sub and you will probably not notice any difference unless you want a load of bass
