Ive had some good meets in Sheffield with them lot.
Yea Sargara, it can be made in to a poll, just trying to get some thing together so people can put opionions across for future meets involving this region.
So, after a much heated debate on the East Mids, especially Nottingham meetings/gatherings. Where would you, the members of this forum within the East Midlands, all like to meet?
I'm thinking cost effective, ie no cost at all apart from fuel and what ever spending money you may need for rides...
They used to do the car meets every sunday but now its once a month, well was once a month.
I prefer the closing on as their seems to be more on at the time.
I would say if people are willing to come to Nottingham, We could all meet up near a pub called the Waters Edge or The Riverside for some grub and a drink, I'll speak to them see if we can get reserved spaces? Pictures wise can be done next to the river trent? under the war memorial (spellingz)...
I would say go to meadow hall car park for a gathering as such in the under cover car park for some photo's. Or is that too chavy meeting in a car park?
I think a breakfast run to the lady bower would be good, they do nice fry-ups there.
Or say in 2 weeks or so have a final run of the year to Skeg Vegas? Usually goes down well if the weather is nice, big convo, raiding skeggy with Renaults an what not, even a pride of lincoln trip would be good.
Ok, so where is best to go and when?
Been talking to a few people from this forum and a few other forums too. Just wanting to go on a track day away from a car show type day too.
I tried to look at rockingham and donnington but for hire of the track its from £8500 per day, that split by 30...
Hello, so im finally looking for a decent 4 channel amp to power the in cab speakers.
Im getting some focal speakers and been told to go for a 4 channel amp that will kick out a minimum of 75w rms per channel.
Also if possible, some thing small enough to fit under one of the seats, links too...
I find the video with IS on the 7d is great, even better if you have it on a pod, i usually take a light weight monopod. A simple MMC3-01 is good enough, can be had for £10. If you have a small ish bag for the camera there should be little side strips that will hold the pod and you'll hardly...
1080p at 60fps on a 1.8 50mm prime lense is brilliant, slow mo vids rule. Specially of things, people, animals crashing into each other or some thing hard.
If you lived any where near to me I'd let you have a play with mine to see how you get on with it.
With the 5D and 1D bodies, even tho they are good they have the full sensor and not the 1.6 crop sensor.
I could have had a 2nd hand 5d mk II for about the same money as a brand new 7d with a lense. The full sensors are good for close up photography, dont forget this is in my opinion. Although...
The white balance is easy, i have it on custom set up now i know more about it, for a noivce to get hold of it quickly, you should be well on your way with it.
Focus points are brilliant, ok i know i have not owned another DSLR but ive used many different ones and found the 7D to be more than...
For last christmas i was going to buy the 50D as my first ever DSLR, talked and done a lot of research then bought a 7D.
Its quiet abit more expensive, well worth it though. Even as a learner like me, i have had some fantasic shots from it.
To go 50D to a 7D, i would say is more than worth it...
For the big rollers maybe, boy whos just scraping by on current wages can not afford the £300 or £400 for having an exhaust ceramic coated.
But as i thourght, waste of time.
I dont understand the whole arguement and personally think its a waste of time on everyday cars.
Anyhow, young boy at work with a 172 cup, is insisting that exhaust wrap is the mutts nutts.
I asked if hes done the manifold to which he said no, cant reach it properly.
So, am i right in saying...
Bit of polish and a lump hammer will have that all out...
Gutting to hear, i fear the day that some thing like this happens to me. Least your ok tho if just a little shook up.
I think the airbags should be disabled when a car is stolen, i know the car was taken from you personally, just some...
Great idea, on the right hand side of this picture. If you cut about 1/3 to half of the bottle away then put a filter over it, then some how get some butterflys in there. You have a cheapo ITB kit. Light weight too.
I know im getting alot of heat off the rad and just putting my hand there the other day i nearly burnt my hand.
So if i can adjust t in some form or other and try to get it away from the rads and better vents then surely i will get slightly better performance too with it.
So where would i get a slim line fan? will it attach to a normal rad?
My slam panel is not attached to the car any how. Just looking at options to get better cool air to the trumpets.
I know people can get shorter radiators but is there an alternative for the aircon part?
Removal of the aircon is not an option, for me anyways.
If some one can provide rough costs and places to get them from it will be appreciated.
