Re: Is the ClioSport more efficient Fuel wise at higher revs?
Yeah, maybe it was the cold that day when I got 35,7 MPG average for the whole tank. I drove Inverness to Peterhead and back, never really got below 30MPH and never stopped, so thats why the MPG was epic I suppose!
Awesome bit of...
Having been shot to pieces elsewhere when I put up a statement that I have found out myself to be true, would you be able to give me a definitive answer that I can cut and paste to further support my answer?
I have found out that the 197 is better on fuel economy when it is being driven hard...
When driving back earlier, I put on the air con onto cold.
It didn't come out cold to start with, but I could feel the car judder slightly every 10-20 seconds, and then cold air came out for about 30 seconds, no juddering. Then air went back to normal temp, and same thing happened over again...
Yeah, his car would have had a UPS Van colour dent in it.
If he feels like taking it to Germany to the Nurburgring in June, can you let me know (serious)?
Would love to have a 200 there on our trip!
I have got 15500 miles of fuel consumption records for a 197, and all that driving has shown that V Power or ANY higher octane fuel gives me about 1 MPG difference over 95.
I am still thinking of just using normal 95 now tbh
I too have seen this one, but the day before.
He is a friend of someone on here, or his brother.
I saw him in Kingston parked up and nearly crashed the van I was driving lol!!!
The best I had was 35,7 mpg beaning it on empty fast roads in the North of Scotland. I get about 29-30 on motorway.
Car is for fun, wouldn't have bought it if I were paranoid about MPG
