Theyre a good visual deterent. I would say the more security you have the safer you are. A twocer just wants to get in and go, if they have to get past locks, steering lock, alarm, immobilsor then theyll probably go for an easier target. That said - if someone wants your car then theres not...- philglover

Are 6 by 9s worth it
Personally I would say yes - but it depends what youre after. Im not going for big audio in my car, so Im quite happy with the sound - but mine are half decent so maybe that sways my opinion. I have heard 6x9s that sound sh*te in comparison- philglover

true. Its a shame because (although they were fords) they made some pretty special cars back in the day, RS500, RS200, Escort Cossie, Sierra Cossie, RS Turbos (although 2-a-penny)- philglover
