You can reach the filter from the front drivers side - but only just! It is do-able, trust me, Ive done it a few times, you feel really proud of yourself when youre finished!
oil - get a champion filter as im told they have a nut on the end to aid removal next time. - to remove this one use a big screwdriver and a hammer from under the car to loosen it.
The brakes on a valver are spongey - I noticed a difference when i changed the fluid, i used some fully synthetic...
Ive got some some 4way 6x9s stacked in the rear shelf - and more than one person has been caught out and thought there was a sub in the boot. People who know their stuff can tell (just!), but your average joe cant. Plus the clarity is excellent, they produce an awful lot of sound for 2 speakers!
Buy it, drive it, love it. A top car - much like a woman, takes some looking after but its well worth it when you scare the crap rep mobiles - Vectras are easy, as are focuss, any BMW up to 2.0/2.3 and theyll be giving you nervous glances - when you hit the twisties youll leave em for dead!!

f**k me sideways! That seems a little excessiive doesnt it? Considering you can pick up a 16v (the whole thing) for about £2.5k now!
why would you want to sell it though!! I reckon that, give it another couple of years and the prices of these things will start to go back up again - esp. if in mint condition. What with them being fairly rare at the best of times!

My old Nova suffered from fuel starvation because the fuel lines to and from the tank became kinked, thus not enough fuel was reaching the engine. Just a different chain of thought??
