The blocks look identical apart from the bottom end so alot of people don't inform insurance companies especially as you can keep the 16v exhaust manifold when doing the conversion
I'd be very carefull the question and answer section at the bottom says the mileage covered by the suspension is 2300 miles thats exactly the same mileage as the crash damaged Trophy also on ebay that needed the suspension replacing... coincidence? how many crash damaged trophys can there be...
Buying a cheap valver is a bad idea even if you're planning on spraying it
If its cheap then chances are the major jobs such as cambelt, clutch and box aren't going to be great which will result in high maintenance costs
I've owned two mint valvers neither of which have ever failed on me...

Mk1 172 is ET 43
Trophy or Cup Pack 182 is ET 45

The money soon...
Priority - get an exhaust manifold heat shield other wise the heat under the bonnet from the manifold will melt the brake lines
I'd spend £15 on a set of locking wheel nuts aswell
Defo needs a phase 2 grill instead of the mesh
Hope you mean mine :)
Was a excellent day well worth the 280 mile round trip, great to meet new people and put names and faces to the cars
Loving this pic of mine...
