My 172 used to give figures of 50 mpg doing a steady 60mph, i was works time so i was in no rush Never really went below 30mpg round town

Sounds good The ratios of valver and willy box are the same apart from the willys taller 5th gear A decent willy box will be stronger but if the willy lump is near enough going to be standard then the valver box should be fine for the power plus better the devil you know
