Yup, it improves throttle response and its obviously free to me so why not! The brakes are Brembo OE discs and new EBC Green stuff pads which I am trying out becuase they are supposed to be better now. First impressions are good but Im still bedding them in.

Well I got my brakes fitted this morning at GDI and they put my new wheels on at the same time. I have to say Im really happy with how they look, although I know people will now be saying slam it!

I think proof is in the times. At the Tuner GP Yozza got a 0-60 of 5.61secs and K-Tec Racings Turbo 172 got 5.11secs Bearing in mind that K-Tecs is apparently running 250bhp at the wheels (according to the website) I think Yozzasports claims a re fairly accurate.

Ill stick with the black ones! I do like the others though.

They are 205/45 R16, the same as the ones I have on my 182. They should be fine on these rims as they are 7" wide.

Im probably going to keep them Steve. They still have a good few mm of tread on the tyres so will just be put back on the car when I sell it.

They will be fitted at the weekend when I get my new brakes fitted at GDI, but here are a few pics: They are Turini's refurbed in Matt Black (courtesy of Fred) and hopefully they will go well with my Liquid Yellow 182!

Thing is thats on the speedo, my GPS shows about 62-63 at the top of 2nd gear

I guess in that case the MK1 172 must be able to get to 70 in 2nd becuase the 172 and 182 I have owned only just get to 60 in 2nd
