the audi TT 225 1.8T or 1.8T 180 are slower than a 182.
A 225 will be slightly quicker than a 182 on the road I rekon.
Get a 172 Cup and with the money saved get a R Sport ECU/Exhaust/de-cat and you will be very happy :D

Id suspect you being quicker than an RS on the strip but once moving i reckon youd get shafted neil.
<FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #407db6">However an RS is capable of a 14.9 0-100 (evo) with a good driver and thats with a fully...
What you guys rekon buy a Leon cupra R 225 (plus chipped/exhaust) and get into more debt (nearly paid off Cup) or spend 2-3 k and get the Cup to about 200-210 hp - 170 lb ft (GDi) Rekon it would cost me about 5 k to change to a Cupra R plus 1500 to tune it.. or about 3 k to get Cup to 210 hp...
Yeah it goes not bad for the limited mods, gave my pals Cavy Turbo (13.6 1/4 mile) a real scare below 100 mph (pulling on him) and kept within 1 car from 100-120 (on a private road in different lanes ;) )

A K-Tec stainless steel exhaust will shave off another 8kg from the 182 making it closer still; lose a stone in weight and thats another 6kg - weight difference nearly gone already! ;)
Ive lost 3 stone since I did my last 1/4 mile run...

I change up at 7k anyway as you can feel the power dropping off at that point. I assume that chip does more than just raise the limit because I feel I would be better off changing up than going past 7k.
My car makes 172 hp@ 6k 181@6500...
