Lesson learned - never let your GF take your 182 on a shopping trip! Dont think Id let any chip repair companies bodge the paint on a black 182 with those nice gold flakes through it!
How did it only weigh 1110 kg with a full tank on the same day a mark 1 weighed 1100 kg with a full tank? If I remember correctly Tom did Renault not claim the mark 2 172 was like 1045 kg for years then said the Cup was 89 kg lighter than the 172 but weighed 1021 kg
From main page:
Mark 1 172
1093 kgs (with alloy bonnet)
1100 kgs (without alloy bonnet)
These measurements were taken from a car with a full tank of fuel and do not include the driver
If I was buying a new RS Clio it would be a "normal" 182 without any shadow of a doubt!
The 172 Cup was something a bit different to the 172 the 182 Cup has the same wheels/suspension as a "normal" Cupd 182 and cant see any reason why someone would chose a 182 Cup over a 182, unless you can...
172 Mark 2 weighs 1120 kgs (full tank)
172 Mark 1 weighs 1100 kgs (full tank)
Those are from a weight bridge that some ppl from the forum did ages ago.
The 182 according to Renault weighs 1090 kg (not sure if this is with a full tank)
