Crap quality pic and the Civic is yellow but I think gold and black is a good combo.
Oh and I know the Civic isnt to everyones tastes but Im using it for illustrational purposes.
PS its my mates car and he did it all himself.
Usually you cant accept the online quote or if you do someone will call up to verify the details. Only a few companies deal totally online.
Oh and never accept your renewal quote, every single company can bring it down even if it is marginal.
Aha this is where i step in a salesman! Right, online is always a rough figure as they usually dont ask full in depth questions which they do over the phone as its all recorded. Ever year some insurers include new schemes, policy etc which may work out cheaper even though its the same car...
Probably for the best, at least youll have peace of mind that It'll be repaired properly. You could try and be sneaky by getting a quote from your insurer in a fake name, same post cost and give the date of birth of a 21yr old with declaring the accident. Might give you a rough ball park figure...
Id personally get a quote from a few garages first. See what how much itll costly privately before deciding which route to take. The thing with insurance is that you can never tell how much it will affect your premium. There is no point speculating that itll cost him roughly £1800 because...
Theyre based in Basildon and they are top quality. The guys specialise in American muscle cars and have done a few of my mates cars so are recommended. I think its about £200ish for a full system but make sure you tell them that you want stainless steel otherwise theyll use mild.
I really like that. TBH I wasnt keen when I saw the development pics. Still not sure on the front bumper and the chrome lexus style lights are a no no. If I was you id go for some black lexus style lights. Paint the diffuser black as already suggested and go for black alloys. Maybe even paint or...
That is plain unlucky Dan. I had an accident once in a brand new car only a few hours after picking it up from the dealership. I was gutted as the wheel was buckled so had to be towed away. Some idiot just pulled out and WHAAM!
To be honest the damage doesnt look too bad. Im sure you could...
I havent heard many fibreglass boot builds that sound any good to be honest. I suggest making the build out of mdf same as Crazy Clio. Then maybe leather it up. Fibreglass builds are normally for show rather than SQ or SPL.
Unless you're gonna kit your car up dont go for anything bigger than a twin 3.5" back box. Ive got a twin 3" and it sits just right.
I recommend looking at different garages to see what kind of exhausts they do. Ive always heard good things about Powerflow as they are totally custom made to...
Thanks for the pics gents. The reason i ordered a pair was because my passenger side wing mirror was broken so i thought i might aswell change them. I think they look a lot smoother than the standard Clio mirrors tbh.
Yeah i havent got round to taking new pics. Will do soon. The fit isnt fantastic but my mate is working on some custom brackets so that they sit nicely because at the moment they look slightly wonky.
