If its only a small section thats damaged it can be repaired (paint wise) pretty easily. Dont go to renault, they charge about 5x more than everyone else. It should easily be well under £100.

Sainsburys wouldnt even insure me. And thats on a 1.4 RT, 1 ncb 21 years old (me not the car :) ) And I work for them! They said it was because I was a student...which seems a bit odd because being a student doesnt add anything to the price as its a low risk group.

Leaking sunroof?
Was it anywhere else?
It could be on the seat aswell, but you wouldnt notice it as the seat can absorbe more before it was noticably wet. Also check for any damage on the water runner things on the roof. Also think about removing the panel that covers where the seatbelt...
Yes, but that has a few drawbacks.
1) A digital camera which arent cheap, and definatly arent cheap enough to leave in your car on the off chance you may have a crash.
2) Would suffer badly in the cold damp conditions that our fantastic British winters (and summers) get.

Actually a lot are open 24/7. I know mine was, I was in the middle of scotland at 2250 on a sunday. And they picked up straight away. They told me exactly what to do, and sorted everything out for me, including a tow back to endinborough. Which was a good 3 hours away (we were staying there)...
Thanks for the info.
I will be getting an AA checkup done on any car I think might be the one for me. But I wil be able to do a little checkup myself before I call them.
Whats the difference between the valver and a 1.8 RSi?
Would you suggest I look at the valver or another car? I already...

Anyway, what kind of...
