ARB only needs removing if you're changing the lower arm (which I presume you're not?). For the ball joint it's basically 3 bolts as said.

I think, but don't quote me on this, it will go as his fault due to the area you were hit. I always thought that if you were entering a main road and got hit anywhere behind the front doors then it went as the other drivers fault? As in he should have had time to react with how far you entered...

8000K aren't twice as bright, they'll actually be worse as the usable light emitted will be less. 4300K is standard and I would recommend 6000K maximum.

There is a 14mm retaining nut on the rear that needs removing. Other than that it's just the hose to pull off. It can be done with the bumper on no problem, should take 15 mins or so.

Yeah if you don't have the 182 cup suspension then any 172 front shocks will fit. £150 each is pricey though. Personally I'd buy all new OE shocks from Renault and fit a set of Eibach Sportlines. Sell the Apex and the rear Spax. Should only set you back £200 - £300 all in.

No, that's like a double negative. You'd have to measure the minimum space required for your registration number to be spaced legally in the correct font etc. Then add 22mm to the length and 22mm to the height as you have to have an 11mm border all the way round. If you had, for example, D...

I think they're on a case by case basis and it would be pointless to try and compare it to anyone else's case. Not having a go or anything but £3k is still alot of money, and as you stated there's no loss of earnings to be recouped.
