I know the V6 boys will have Trackers, but what about any others on here? What's the best system out there and cost wise what we looking at? Are there any noticeable discounts for insurance if they don't stipulate that one must be fitted? Comments and experiences welcomed :)

I agree Tom, as I said I'm not overly fussed either way. But to pick up on your last point, we thought the standard reading of 172 was quite low too, so immediately I had the cam timing checked. This was found to be spot on so I've just accepted that it is what it is. I know people making...

Shock absorber > top hat > bearing > rubber mount > collar > 17mm nut.

Bearing should be ontop of the strut, not ontop of the rubber mount. From the pic I would say the entire rubber mount is upside down.

Erm, phone EuroCarparts? Surely it will have a warranty regardless of the fact it has been fitted. Not fit for purpose.

No Dean, my last RR was 29th of Jan and I ran 181.8bhp with OE airbox and ITG panel. Yesterday with the JMS setup it ran 181.7bhp.

James - I'm not bothered either way really whether it added any bhp or not - I was merely posting up my findings much the same as you have. I can post before and after graphs for you to compare if you so wish? I think the "same day" theory is a non-starter to be fair as that would suggest...

I think the OZ Superleggera will probably be ET37, meaning the tyres sit about 6/7mm too far out on each side.

What's the offset of the wheels though? Could run 195 tyres to give extra clearance.

The rubbing is down to the offset of the wheels. Personally I wouldn't go any higher on those adjustors.

No gains from the V6 JMS induction kit. Mine 'lost' 0.1bhp.

Can't say 100% for the Mk1, but on the Mk2's it's less than 2 litres. About 1.75 from memory.

My cammed 182 gets low 20's enthusiastically. On a motorway I can still get mid 40's out of it :)

From memory I think it's the right hand side (passengers) but couldn't be 100% on that. Yeah axle stands are very handy ;)

Lol, I quite like it! :o As much as I love the V6, I think the front end looks quite dated now what with the 197 and 200 progression. Zero emissions - it's an electric power plant...although people always forget where electricity actually comes from ;)

Fuel economy - upstream lambda sensor. Handling - could be ball joints, but could equally be a leaky (rear) shock absorber.
