i can't say about the other but i use giganews and it's very good, although sometimes i notice my connection isn't maxing out, although i'm not sure if it's my bb provider or giganews...

Sophos is very good, but my experience with Mcafee 8.5 is very good, not sure if it would be worth the change, although sophos is much cheaper...does a very good job too. Also convieniently, has a 3rd party removal tool as part of the installer so would remove mcafee for you if you needed to..

prob worse SD picture and obviously you get a HD picture...

lol atm i'm using maplins job to cable some creative setup i've had for years and tbqh, if it wasn't for the fact that they 're ugly as hell, i wouldn't replace them, they're awesome lol

V series are quite good too. Don't get D or S series though imo.

use a iphone converter or something, shrink it down to a small resolution will give the most gains though.

the trouble is here i'm a novice when it comes to audio setups on any calibur, i know about a lot of stuff but never invested the time in research because i've always been very happy with simple 5.1 setups from the likes of creative (obviously my standards aren't too high). heard my mates...

yeh power the both amps which powers the speakers. then the music travels over air from one box to the other, not exactyl true wireslless but you know

they have a rear amp connector which connects the speakers to the main unit, kind of like a wireless bridge.

the other options looks awesome, 3 hdmi inputs and 3 optical... the sub is massive though...not very hideable really, still i love the idea of it just wondering if it's worth the money.

What you think guys, thinkign about making the investment, heard my friends and it really is amazing...even at very high levels. Thoughts and opinions please? Was going to use it for playing game sont he ps3 (streaming hd films), playing dvds etc...

looked at them a fair bit too mate, only issue there was it cause massive issues with wireless internet broadcasting...so will disrupt other users using wirless in your place. The other issue is static when you have audio silence. Plus the only ones i've found which are true 5.1s are my last...

are they good for movies too? and how is the comfort level? do you get nasty hissing from the IR? this was an issue i've read about.

they look awesome. i've actually used a similar set using simiolar technology, works very well. They even make them now with noise cancelling technology aswell as noise isolating earpieces... unfrotunately though thats not what i'm after, i want to hear cod4 assasins coming up behind me! so 5.1...

yep mkv2vob for the win. However, using m2ts files amd wmv-hd is a different story. But you should be ok just using mkvs at the beginning.
