yes
imo definitley, because if it goes you will be forking out a full cambelt change again
unless you know for a fact that it has had oil changes every 6 months since leaving the factory
all round better base for a track car
more driver focussed
all in my opinion of course :P but ive had both and i may be buying another phase 1 in the next week or 2
no way i would for an ek4 id get an ek9 an put the money in for a turbo or supercharger if thats what you wanted
that ek4 is no way worth anywhere near that money even with the turbo IMO
the fork splitter from halfords fits fine

Xenons dont just "go out" i'd be swapping everything over to make sure it is the bulb
Few people have presumed its the bulb when its the igniter or ballast
when the bulb is dud it goes pink
a bit late but will do if anyone see's the thread :)
lower ball joint that mate
also there wont be friction as it is a ball joint, have you checked inner track rod joints under the boots?
id just change lower ball joints tbh even though it is a pain in the arse lol
Lol @ chipped, everyone seems to say that these days that there car is better than standard because it's "chipped"
do you mean remapped? or is it an old golf?
anyway im sensible so i havent seen more than 130 ;)
It can be a c**t to get out
oh and the harness clips onto the subframe and is on a slider thing
you'll see what i mean when you get to it, so that can be awkward too
get a 182 cat fabricated to your car that will be far better and not silly loud
then get a decent stainless cat back system, it will save you money in the long run when the standard one disintegrates :)
You should be changing at least every 12 months ignore milage
I do mine every 6 months and that's roughly 4000 miles
If you have parked on an inclince or something then that can bring up oil an stop
Run it and see where its leaking from?
some times the clips on the hoses corrode away or you could have a fine split in the pipe
id top it up leave it runnging and dive underneath till you can pinpoint where its coming from
is it definatley leaking?
as in it isnt using the water itself?
