3M CF wrap

Alreet guys, wheres the cheapest place to buy this please? Looking at wrapping maybe wing mirrors, diamonds, spoiler & possibly roof! And any tips on fitting it!

The more you buy, the cheaper it gets iirc.

I've touched many a wrap but nothing is the same as real carbon.

I got a 1220mm x 600mm for £30 from carbon modz with some extra free samples

The free stuff is only A5 from their website, I would try ebay. I have come across meter square sheets for £15 before. I wrapped my phone with it as the A5 was too small to wrap anything on the car, it's pretty easy to use as long as you have a hairdryer nearby.

Has anyone sprayed over this with lacquer yet? I would assume it would look like real carbon fibre then.

Anyway, cheers peoples, i have made a small order (cheapest option of £18 iirc) plus a freebie bit! (carbon modz)

Just make sure what ever you wrap is very clean, and wiped down with panel wipe.

Start small and get a feel for the material. If you can get the 3M stuff it will be a lot easier to use and get a much better finish.

Use heat, a nice clean dry finger to apply and plenty scalpel blades.

Ive laqured a few of my bits it just looks wetter with the more layers ive settled with three coats and its a decent finish

Just make sure what ever you wrap is very clean

Don't think that's a problem with Magpie lol!

You'll want to make sure you have removed LSPs before fitting though.

I have some spare bits somewhere, really want to find something to wrap and lacquer now just to see how it looks, lol.

Looks rubbish! It's matt and looks nowt like "Finished" carbon you'd see on the likes of an M3.

im on the other boat on this one, i laquered a few buits and personally though it looked cack, it looked no where near as good as it did unlaquered so i threw the bits in the bin and started again!
