Prob get some 40mm springs then level up the torsion bar
Id loose the 16v badges before someone else does it for you and damages your paintwork
Best induction kit set up for performance is standard airbox with ITG panel filter

The indicator units annoy me aswell its the secondary orange lenses that are fixed within the units so silver visions wouldnt help

As said above youll need to do some serious miles to make any decent savings
You can pick up a cheapo ZX or 306 diesel for £500 and use that for the trip to work itll cost pennies to insure and who cares if it looks crap

IMO you get what you pay for when buying a valver
Theyve reached the age where if theyve been ragged about and not serviced properly they will cause you problems. Due to the lack of space under the bonnet problems tend to end up being expensive
