replace it with a VW Toureg V10 Superchipped diesel
this superchipped 2.5 Ton monster does 0-60 in 6.0!!
with only around 1500 KG Clio to shift? daft idea I know!
should manage it!
to drop just under 10 youd prolly need over 100BHP (1.6 16V about 9.5 with 110BHP)
10 is my aim with diesel power (IK and superchips) = 103BHP
(11.6s 0-60 with 85 BHP)
SORRY GUYS - NOT ALLOYS.
15 inch trims SAME as on old shape Megane, some Clios on continent and basic Laguna - most people stick after-market alloys on anyway.
DEFO wouldnt pay list thou!!
£9.2K for a dCi 65! only paid £600 more for an dynamique 80 with air, metallic and alloys!! AND sold...
mines lowered 40mm and I DONT wanna lower it anymore.
If you dont want that cruiser look, I think it looks sporty enough without looking too modded.

Should be quicker when nearly empty (weight) - running below empty on fumes will pick up sh*t in the tank and could make it a run bit worse.
WEIGHT - 1 Litre approx 1 kilo, so 50kg is about 5% of kerb weight on a new one, about 7% on a 950cc Reno 5!!
usually pessimisitic guages - if I fill...
yep ALL recent small/medium Reno should be same.
check difference in circumference on miata link at bottom of page:
http://www.cliosport.net/styling/tyreguide.asphttp://www.cliosport.net/styling/tyreguide.asp
should be max 3% out to have unoticeable effect.
Love me dCi - IK and Superchips coming.
only fed up with pratts denting the doors in car parks and the friggin
neighbours kids nickin the ally dust caps!
find a good independent for 72K - should be half that!
Full Main Dealer Service past 50K is very rare (on any make of car) - as long as youve got stamped book and receipts nobody will be bothered come selling time!!
Reno finance was best for me!
I only paid £300 in fees on 5K @ 3.2% on a New Reno!!
(5K would have cost £500-£800 in fees anywhere else)
£9800 + £300 for a car listing @ 11K (air & metallic)
£3600 depo.
£200 PM x 24
£1600 FINAL!!
Watch the Total Figure to Pay - the first finance...
Cadence does mean "rythmical", so ON-OFF.
basically brake v. firmly until JUST at point of lock then OFF and ON.
shouldnt EVER hear more than a chirp or not quick enough reactions!!
ALSO
1) prolly less grip on inside (gravel etc.)
2) most cars pull slightly left due to camber of road...
or a little orse - PONY
or a posh orsey sport - POLO
or a WAN*ER - Pajero (Shogun) means wan*er in Spanish
or a sh*t - MR2 in french is "Meurr eRRR De"
remember a Golf weighs about 1400kg, a Clio dCi is 980kg
so a dCi 100 (or chipped 80) is roughly the same power to weight as a Golf TD PDi 130 (actually about 145bhp)
If you want it to be as fast as 172, forget it!
save your modding cash and buy a Seat Ibiza PD 130 and chip it to 172...
Yep!
was a bit smoother, quiter and refined than my dCi 80, but prob. cos of that didnt FEEL any faster!!
A DCi 80 is actually about 85 and is a LOT quicker than 1.2 or 1.4 petrol mid-range where it really matters - 145lb/ft torque compared to about 80lb/ft for 1.2 and 100lb/ft for 1.4...
