I personally wouldnt buy it since it is from outside the EU. He would probably have trouble insuring it and may have to get it done as a grey import (not from the EU)

Some of the MK1 172s came without this. It coincided with the removal of the alloy bonnet too.

I did the same as towser but as he says it is a b**tch of a job! I did it by cutting the grommet below the bonnet release and then used a circular file to make it bigger.
