I ran mine without the rocker cover for a while and it made no difference. I did it for the track day in an attempt to possibly make the engine cool down quicker.

I enquired to the cost of hiring Santa Pod for a Renault or Cliosport day only and here is there response, needless to say I laughed when I got it!

Yank it off mate! Was chatting to Yogi the other week and he has grounded his amp under here. He said it is a bit of a b1tch to remove but you have to just pull it off.

I would have thought that as long as you keep the rolling radius the same all should be well for the ESP? I dont have it fitted but went from 195/45 R16 wheels to 205/40 R17 wheels and there is no difference in acceleration at all.

Ive got Falken FK-451s on my 172 and they are probably the best tyre I have ever used. Very grippy in the dry and when hot, perhaps not so much in the wet but nothing that has ever got me into trouble. I am going to change my fronts in the next month or so for them again as they have had 7000...
