Picked up my new splitter this morning from Skoda for £12.67.
Before:
This is the box it comes in:
VW Group ;)
Nice and bent... Thanks :|
Jacked up one side of the car to make access a bit easier, old splitter off:
New one on:
Needs to be tidied up...
Rule of thumb, buy the best you can afford.
Hankook V12's are OK. Wouldn't say that are as good as the PE2 though.
Do a search, been covered quite a few times.
For £100+ less it looks close enough for me. Mine lasted since birth, it only broke in the hands of someone else :(
When I ordered mine, the guy actually asked if it was for a clio and had the part number written down!
At Shineorama you should have seen Hybrid and another wax's (can't remember) curing time in the cold. They'd gone on fine (if a little hard) left to cure and where a b**ch to get off, QD had to be used to get both off.
Shield was fine though <3
I have Carbon you pleb. Maybe it is a gimmick and I should get G101. I just feel that A snowfoam and a pressure wash will get rid of most of the car and I can just leave it at that while the weather is sub zero.
I've seen a lot of people with 1.2's getting around 30MPG even less sometimes. Winter wont help either.
My 1.2 got 40MPG all day long, 50MPG on longer runs. Could just be your driving style.
Re: What have you ordered?
I'm with you on that. When I cleaned my car at the start of the year, I emptied the rinse bucket 3 times, and they're CG 16litre buckets!!
Re: What have you ordered?
If I went back to a sponge, I'd drop it every 5 seconds. Mitts feel nice too.
I can't see how these uber new sponges can really be that good.
