No point not doing the dephaser if your doing the belts. For £150 you might as well, better than playing another £500 when/if it does go.

I only tend to use SF after winter as I do keep on top of the car pretty well. During winter its obviously harder due to the conditions, thats why I'm not fussed about using buying a big tub of it. It'll probably get used 5 times a year MAX. Urgh, I've really got that itch for detailing...

Cheers dave. I was thinking it might be down to the pressure washer as well. Is there anywhere you can buy smaller bottles of it, as I only tend to use it during winter.

Speak to seb (sofaboy on here) about turbo'ing if you're interested. I believe he's ordered his ECU for it which is the most expensive bit of the conversion.

Mine wasn't 'dirty' as such just dusty and had a lot of bird s**t on it (as its been sat on a farm for a month) But its all come off. Like aucky said, there was a black e90 BMW that you could see the dirty literally dripped off.

A good smelling wax is key when applying it. All that bonding crap comes somewhat later.

Zymol waxes to have a special feel to them. I really must thank you again for showing me Carbon on DW, I do love that stuff (a little too much!)
