weight at a guess.
just thought seen as this hasnt carried on topic il make a comment. mate of mine had a race against me in a brand new 197 MKIII last week i was in the cup. all the talk of specs and lower speed didnt mean much, it had left me on the twisties after half a mile, grip is...
eh ? in both 172`s ive owned i couldnt use first without massive torque steer and wheel spin even on a v hot day it still gives you gip.
my vote goes to almost useless and short 1st gear.
OK, lets imagine there was going to be one then for the sake of disscusion on here and forget what people tell us as you never really know if someone will change their minds and bring out a meg v6 or clio v6 again..
so please continue
read in autocar that a reno spokesperson has not ruled out a new V6 and hinted at the 350z for inspiration whatever that means.
could be the reason why its still on the reno website yet the 182 has gone now its been replaced as they are making a new V6.
anyways what would you like to see...

how much there in good nick no kerbing could i get for the full set ?
btw: fancy these in either white or...
205bhp ? so for £3600 you gain 20hp on a 182 ?? or 30hp on a 172 ?? yet peeps on here have inlet,decat,rsport,induction,cams and get 200 for £2.5k max. thought trottle (or is it throttle) bodies produced about 220 from a 172 ?

forgot to add torque to weight is higher in a cup also
but i guess 90kg + 8-10kg unsprung weight, wider track lower suspension isnt enough of a difference to some
we will have to agree to disagree on this one.
quick one.
In terms of handling what do spacers do ?
slower turn in but high speed stability improves ? thats the only thing i can think of.
is adding a spacer the same (not literally) as widening your cars Track ?
any info appreciated
depends how you drive on the road. thats like saying a daewoo matiz is great for road as to exploit anymore than that is not needed for road, as if to say the cups handling limits cant be reached on the road..
hundreds of ditches would disagree :D
((btw, ive seen/done it and been on both...
thats just not true. Lots of 172MKII`s dont make their claimed power (one recently RR`d with 135hp !! but that was broken from factory) a 172cup is faster and will overtake a 172MKII no prob imo. removing weight in my MKII172 didnt have the same effect as removing it in my cup also.
110kg is...
