basically over the last few weeks ive been seeing H&R mentioned and FK n all that but......... just curious about KW and Cobra coilovers? would they be alright because after all most of our cars arent exactly supercars? would be to go on a 1.6 16v clio

on a run in my 1.6 16v i get about 50 if "i drive like a nun" or 40/45 normally during the week (short runs - barely warms up) i get 30/35 odd

yeah my clio feels like a right big fat oaf with a full tank! i find at about 1/4 full its best

loved my old 1.2 8v mk1 clio......... lots more character than my current 1.6 new clio........ there just isnt that spark about the new ones in my opinion! old 1 - 9/10 (just cos it was slow) new 1 - 6/10 (so ordinary and sloppy)

yeah my old 1.2 8v popped and burrbled with a ktec exhaust on it! obv i aint gonna get any flames out of a 1.2 with the cat in but it still sounded lovely!!! what i mean by popping is that when ur on the way down thro the revs and tapping the accel pedal

the loud ones are VERY loud! personally im gonna go for the quietest one as i dont want it sounding so harsh.......... after a slightly more classy look & sound on my old mk1 1.2 8v i had a the 4.5in exhaust (loud 1) and it wasnt half loud! but the popping and burrbling was fcuking mint!!!!

Ah yes! think it came on the other day on the approach to a slippery round about! the brakes locked for a sec and then the brake pedal went mental and vibrated lots! didnt sound too pretty tho

ive got the same problem........ dunno wot tail pipe i want! the 6" x 3" is nice but so is the twin 3"!!!

basically i recon good cornering is less body roll and more "control" but this often means it eliminates room for error and when things go wrong.......... it well.... isnt good! so really u need progressivly hard suspension which will forgive u a bit if u overcook it but will be stiff enough...

ok so now im worried! got my car booked in to get the boot resprayed as theres a inperfection on the paint (2 months old)........ so what do i need to do to be safe? take pics of wheels body and all that?

so on another note does any1 have a green induction kit at all? like non-dyna twist thingy? any problems? how do u clean the cotton element?
