I do know that strangely if your tracking is out by a long way it can cause this issue!
Best bet is get it on a decent diagnostics machine to find out the codes or your just stabbing in the dark
I've yet to find a downside to the map (sure someone will correct me)
Smoother power delivery - 5k kick is still there just not as aggressive.
Drives ten fold better on a cold start then it ever used to
Better mpg on normal driving
More responsive lower down the rev range.....

There's a guy on ebay who can send you a new one next day for about 30 quid. Just send him a photo of your locking nut.
Dunno how he does it but worked for me.
If it's box related it will be the diff... My 182 did the same thing our day out of the blue. Changed the box and was fine.
Could be wheel bearing or driveshaft etc though? Although they usually knock.
Seen a similar problem to this on a customers car... Turned out to be master cylinder! Lots of trial and error and head scratching to get there though lol

Inner rods creating play in steering - gone from hardly noticeable to s**t scary to drive at speed in the space of a couple of hundred miles... Needless to say she is all parked up till these arrive.
I have a Kenwood under seat sub and it's pretty good.... Retained the standard head unit to. Wiring is pretty easy.
If you get stuck let me know will get the info you'll need (wire colours etc)
Looks like metal filings down there too? Could be rubber insert. I don't really see how you would round a plug off! There's a guy called the thread doctor down here in west sussex. He loves things like this. Always seems to be able to sort them out! Dunno where your based but might be someone...
