hmm after looking about im gonna swap the bulbs over to find out if its dodgy bulb or a ballast thing.may sound a stupid question but how do you remove the bulb.as people are saying its a dealer job......which is not goin to happen lol

or would it be just as good to use gasket paper an just cut my own out

why is it more for the manifold to cat.same gasket isnt it?

my phase 2 172 i need some exhaust gaskets for cat to manifold an cat to centre its the only car on euro car parts that i cant order any:S there only couple of quid anyone know of any where near me #(cheshire) or even better somewhere i can order a cheap set online be a massive help thanks :D

strongly disagree there lol nothing to do with me booting it more :P i was always seeing 34mpg on my daily drive an since removal its stuck to 31 an under.im a student i cant boot it due to the fact i cant afford it lool as for being more responsive geeez there worse with the cat removed lower...

lol that is very true but all the sports ive seen struggle to pass on emissions with a cat nevermind without one the 182 is much better though as im talking about the 172 i dread emission time on mine

true but u onli get a gain with alot of mods dats all im sayin and response is worse lower in the revs

thats just how the clios run lol im used to it after 5 i replaced alot of parts an it never made much of a difference they do benefit from sum new ngk's though i must say its just the cam set up which is why you dont get it through any of the rev range :D

yes depending on what system your connecting it with if its desgned to go to the cat.then i had to cut down the pipe then weld it together.youll see what i mean when you have it apart.if anyones interessted i have a full mongoose exhaust with decat all ready welded ;) private message me

id look through the forum as i wouldnt get a brand newen myself but if you did then ktec maybe theres quite a few sports cats out there i think decats are highly overrated unless your car is pushing alot of power if you find a good deal let me know :D because i want one lol

i hate my decat in this weather so smokey for ages lol personally i think sports cat is the way forward you dont lose power an it sounds nearly as good an dnt ave to mess about at mot time

id go for pioneers the cheaper in the range.ive had a set in all 5 of my clios an make a big diff to the shitters reno fit :P an there direct fit too :D

jus since this morning.but i didnt have time to mess about so used the other car.and not been back yet. erm yea the motor was making a noise like it was trying harder to push the wipers but this could of blown the fuse or the motor could of packed in thats why wasnt sure ill have it apart 2moz...

im on about my 6th clio an they all hated cold mornings lol just let em warm up the decat does make it a bit worse but not much jus cos you can hear it more clearly i always leave mine running for 5 mins before i drive it :D
