as mines awful a high speed feels like i may aswell not have the steering wheel
and it pulls left too
and my steering wheel isnt alligned
im gonna fit sum new track rod ends too as...
check track rod ends too
if not just knockin on full lock
had few problems with dodgy sterering unstable at sped
an slight knock when moving the wheel
after i replaced the track rod ends were replaced it felt much better
well thers quie a few posts of faulty xenon ballasts
because of flickering lights an that
and i see them alot on other vehicles on ther forums too
maybe it isnt common on the majority
but there are still few people with faults on these
i personally blame the snow an water somehow working its way...
not true on the 20 quid bulbs
allthough i do have phillips oem xenon bulbs on my phase 2
on my other i have 6000k 20 quid xenon bulbs an they havent failed since having them
sorry.........but im only sayin from experiance of them failing
on 2 vehicles

and im talking about the ballasts not the cheapo xenon bulbs
as i have always had philips

my ballast has gone for my xenon
and i have seen this slimline ballast with connectin lead for 27.99
has anyone fitted before
after searchin a bit i hear these are pretty good
jus wonderin if its direct fit or will i need any other connections

id find some one with a crashed one an try an get acheap price on there set of lights
after swapping the bulbs around i have diagnosed i have a faulty ballast
does anyone kno how too repair these
or what the fault is on them to cause the lights to flicker
as finding a new one is hard and i dont have many funds
thanks there i removed with the drill.you do need the bumper off to get the ballast off.

i always ignore when a salesman says ill put 12 month mot on it
because they normally have there own testing bit
an pass some right sheds through
had this with alot of cars

i am rite now in the middle of removing my bumper to try an sort out my xenons
but the bolt on the lower corner of the bumper.the torx bolt.is rounded off and i cannot get it off.and i cannot get at the other side to cut it
wat do i do :S

a battery is actually 13.2 volts
contarry to what people think
but they should run at a minimum of 12 volts
sayin that i havent seen one at 18 volts

and it may sound odd but bare witth me on this one lol
with the car locked use the key to unlock the car
get in the car close doors then
using the key lock the doors
then start the car and drive it untill the automatic centtral locking kicks in (even tho the doors...
try using your spare key to lock and unlock itt
i had a problem like this because i left it unlocked an it kind of reversed the immobiliser
using a spare key sends another code to reset it
i think anyways
