this may sound odd.but try the plastic on the inside of the boot.behind registration plate that part.mine was loose an jus needed tapping in.an it buzzed like fap at 3 to 5 k drove me mad an turned out to be as simple as that lol

did you change your bulb out side should do it at room tempreature as when the casing is out the back outside then put back together it goes steamy lol i got a bollocking at college for this unless the seal on your headlight itsself is s**t id take them out and have a look easy job

were you driving along and they went out??? have you checked the fuses if you were just turning them on and they didnt come on then could be the ignitor if you had some constant flickering or dodgyness with them before they went out then could be the ballasts and if they were dimming or changin...
