In a tyre test in Auto Express (main stream tyres) the Conti Premium Contact won for the second time in a row, as fitted on normal clios. The Exalto came about 4th i think.
Only for the 172s though ill try to persuade David when i phone him next week, rik you up for a carbon splitter (around £100) if i ask? Id expect he would need a number of people to make it worthwile.
Yes it will Tony.
The 172 only produces all its power with 98ron.
Optimax cleans your engine and keeps it in good nick, its not really meant for added performance, but it can give you a little boost like when you change your spark plugs.

lol unlucky mate ive had nutters stroke my car, or blatantly walked into it and they never say sorry or anything.
I pushed mine back Clare as it was big and obvious
Not sure Lotus would copy the kit car manufacturers somehow as cool as it would be! It will be interesting to see how they get on with the Toyota engines (if confirmed) i think its about time they produced something quick again though, really the Noble M12 should of been what Lotus made IMO
Cant you get the VHPD upgrade though? I know you dont read EVO but they had an article about the Kseries could actually get more power, and reliably due to the fact tuners were using upgrades which were actually bad for the engine. You could always supercharge it.....in dreamworld again!
Yeah the new models bonnet is wafer thin, i get dents from sitting on it! I managed to push them back. Try using a dent puller from Halfords or similar.

Thanks Paddy ill give it a go.
I like the 172 wheels, i would instead get the Eibach springs, they have had positive reviews on this site and would make the wheels look a bit bigger.

Directline will be the best for you.
Dannyboy is the same age as you (i think) and dont think hes got 4 years NCB, he is paying an okish amount with them.
I like the colour match. It looks pretty good but i still wouldnt do it if it were my car to be honest. Next up should be Mk2 bumpstrips! Like the wheels BTW.
