well after the last one a year and a half ago i have decided its safe to venture out into the water again of the HDTV ocean. anyway i need a 37" set as 32" is too small and 42" was far too big so it didnt give me many options really and tied me to just lcd options were mainly samsung...

its not long enough for portraits really obviously you can use it but 85 1.8 is better for it

almost :) you can shoot at about 1 sec handheld and get good results unless you pixed peep

yeah decided on the17-55 instead its a more alround lens especially for traveling tbh id have never used the 70-200 while there

erm now i have 400d EF-s 17-55 2.8 IS and 50mm 1.8 battery grip gorillapod thats about it

id go 40d or 5d tbh ;)

the 17-55 is great i used it for all my trip around 1400 pictures it is hard to fault really

hk wasnt that bad tbh it was first stop on our 3 stop trip though so not certain what it cost for HK we stayed 4 nights and had a great time

oh yes it was faping gorgeous and just sat outside my hotel room :D i actually spotted a black one too but it was moving so only got a very crap pic of it

yup i have used them a few times and they have been very very good

its going great just waiting for the airport pickup to go to bangkok now :) will be back on sunday some time only problem with the 17-55 is vignetting :dead:

neither tbh EF-S 17-55F2.8 IS i just bought it the other day and its fantatstic it really iss fast and has IS too can hand hold at 1 second if you carfull
