Coilovers allow bigger wheels, you might be ok, if your car was lowered -40mm on the coilovers theyd be a lot less problems compared to normal -40mm lowering springs.

Yeah people are making judgements without actually seeing the cars me thinks, i saw the red one at brands and the blue one at the motorshow, both looked good. Does kinda look like pink in that photo though...

Anthony, but maybe youll want a Cup with ABS? ABS doesnt weight much..15kg max, its only because of supposed homolgation it didnt have it in the first place.
Good point on the colour thing kdf..i guess they just will (if they actualy do it) will have a bog standard 172 and you just pick what...
I would say its more to do with the fact that theyre not homoglating it for anything and so might as well offer more options on the Cup as its selling so well.
EVO say this is UK only btw as over here is where the biggest success has been, so no ragnottis involved.

On my next car i will be getting the Supaglass, i dont see the point in getting fancy alarms. The CAT1 i have at the mo got me no discount.

Due to the success of the Cup it has been rumoured the 172 maybe DISCONTINUED!! Instead Renault are thinking of having a long options list with the Cup being the base car, but owners can add kit as they please. So people will be able to have Cups with ABS! :)

Van Aaaken put small T25 Garrett turbos on many of the small engined Fords, and even have a conversion for the Renault Twingo! They are very low boost, so only gains of around +30bhp but this does mean youll have reliablity and wont have to upgrade everything. How about giving them a call...
I saw loads of nice cars on the way up, my favourite being a Lotus Esprit V8 in bright yellow, it destroyed someone in his Porsche 911, very nice to watch!

I didnt see anyone there?! I looked around for a while but i was with me dad so i wasnt going to spend all day walking around. It was a good day though, great weather and as you say them champ cars were very fast! My car was parked by itself on the VIP entrance at paddock :D

Yeah thats the VHPD for you. It costs something like £30k as well doesnt it? Bit much for a cardboard box on wheels. The R300 is the better to drive to be fair but you cant mess with the 550bhp per ton or whatever it is of the R500.

Even though i cant drive them properly id have to get the R500, it has the best power to weight of any production car out the mo. Oh, and its not ugly!
