If its a 55plate 1.4 (taken from your details) thats pretty low. You can get 40mpg easily out of them. If its a sport, then previous posts are correct. You details were a bit misleading as there is no mk4 either. 55 plate will be a mk2.

Get some 16" pov spec 172 wheels and leave them silver. They look great on black non-sports. White turini's could be good. But it has been done loads.... for a good reason.

ph1 172/ph2 172 cup are said to be best for driver interaction. If you want the toy's get a 182 with cup packs. the ph2 172 pov spec is the 'dog' of the RS's. But In no means bad at all.

Yeah, depends on the underwriter. Lots of places say you can have unlimited 'cosmetic' mods as you want for no extra price. However they give you a performance limit etc to stop anything else. Really good way tbh. like plummer said, £500 for a non-sport modified or £1.5k+ for a sport...
