Right, the drawing for the headlight washers is wrong. It is one tube coming from a separate pump on the washer bottle. It feeds both washers, they are not separately fed. They are UCH controlled and only operate A) if the headlights are on and B) If you wash the windscreen for more than 5...

Yes, quite firm but it does. From memory there is three locating pins on the rear of it.

The mounts unscrew from inside the car. Take off the plastic shitty cover above the door card and the screws are under it :)

No, that's re-synching the keys. I bought one last year for my old 1.2. It was £60 for the key, £30 to program it and £5 for the blade and cutting.

Are you testing them with the lights on? Have both failed at the same time? It's a separate pump but is UCH controlled so it could be either of those. Do the windscreen washers still work?
