Whats it like without the rear seats? Can you weigh them to see the difference? Wondering if the rear will be a bit too light as youre making it even more front biased.

How much is the boost effected by the chip? Maybe a bigger intercooler off of a megane or laguna diesel? You have to question how much is worth spending..and remember the strengths of diesels, economy!

Hmm but youre going OTT. Since when did you have to measure the varying surfaces etc etc? When it starts to lock you let off and then brake again, and initally you progressively pump the brake. I am comparing it to someone who would just put there foot through the bulkhead. I didnt mention...

I know one of the 1.4s have 75bhp, theyre also heavier. Not sure about torque but obviously the shortish gearing helps on the clio.

It all comes down to the driver, at the end of the day ABS is pretty clumsy but can sort you out, an ok driver should be able to stop more effeciently and therefore faster. ABS should be standard on every car on the road, including the Cup.

Well no because the engine is designed to do that..if the engine limit was raised to 10,000rpm it would wear the engine quicker right? So obviously it wouldnt wear as quickly but it would still wear quicker than standard. Just because you dont notice it in the short term doesnt mean it wont...
