Well i have a black clio, sometimes it really annoys me as you have to clean it so often otherwise it looks crap, though it is worth it for when its clean!
I would of got it in silver but being a lower spec clio it didnt have the 172 Silver as an option, the alternative silver is a bit sh*t...
Thats what my dad had before the Vanny, which i actually preffered. He just likes astons, we used to have a big old V8 Convertible, ex prince of wales, very nice but handled like a house.
Havent heard it, supposed to be great though. The bugatti has always been a favourite of mine. The vanquish has the best engine note though i have to say! Wont be keeping it for long though, my dad has the Vanny as a company car, so tax is plain stupid and its becoming hard to justify. I think...
Someone was going to sell your dad to get a lambo? Now thats dedication!
My dad who is also the overall boss has brought his vanquish in today, its unfortuantely very dirty though.
Im pretty sure youd be the first. I cant see you fitting it in to be honest. The 172 has a pretty cramped bay, and the mk1 clios must be a quite a bit smaller?.
The current trend is turbo valver engines, or R5 GTT conversions.
I was on some of my local fave roads last month, a GSI overtook a car and i followed suit (and a modified CRX did the same behind me), it really took off, didnt see which way it went, normally i catch up with any car i have raced on one chicane but he pulled away so much he was just gone.
De-cats arent an exact science, its only a straight through pipe after all. Sound will be much improved im sure but performance will little or none. Most modern cats arent very restrictive.

My car is quite strange, it seems to have good and bad days, sometimes the gearbox is beautifully slick but most of the time its notchy and vague..oh well..
I took off my extreme badges with a hairdryer and a blunt knife, i cleaned and polished the car and it looked fine afterwards. Dont bother with the Sport badges, the only people who will give a f**k is us and well know its not the proper car! The Clio badge is held on by pins BTW
