Im getting a bit confused, to set the record straight we are now going to the Mean Street Cruise NOT Southend so please check the meetings board if you havent already.

Cool, turn off at crittles corner and take the left turning off of the big roundabout, on the right there a couple of bodyshops, V&G is the one with the green fence. If you have any problems i can show you were it is as i work 2 mins from them.

To be honest i think you are expecting too much, normally you need about 40bhp on the open road to see a difference, with all the small factors mentioned everything youve said seems viable.
I live in SE london/Kent border. I use V&G Crash repairs, they do many exotic motors and have a really good reputation. Theyre not too expensive either but always busy!

I doubt its that hard to put a small T25 turbo on, if i had a Cup and was old enough to be able afford the insurance on a much modified one id be on the blower to Van Aaken!
All of my dads cars now have the quite cool plates, the aston has V12 BAB, the BMW is about to be transfered to M3 BAB, landrover has B1G BAB and the Smart has L11 BAB. BAB stands for The British Accreditation Bureau, my dads main company.
