Paul, if you look up the fmp (shed motorsport) thread in Parts Forsale there is a graph posted up showing the gains. Though from memory they are only 3/4bhp mid range I believe.

Sport cat wil pass an MOT, de-cat will not. Neither will 'add' power they will just free up the stystem a little making the engine feel more responsive.

TDC sensor at a guess. Down the right hand side of the engine above the gear box. About £20 I think from dealers.
