It goes to ---- because it's only ever an estimate based on all the contributing factors. If you relied on the reading 100% even with the fuel light on you could easily run out of petrol before the reading went to zero. People would then try to claim from Renault for costs etc, hence the display...
£150? lol cost me more than that for a bonnet spraying. £350 sounds more than reasonable to me when you think of the work involved. You get what you pay for ;)
Yeah it's proving to be a bit of a puzzler this one lads. I really can't understand why they decided on the Update list instead of keeping the Tuner list
Thanks for trying your source Brian I do appreciate it but I don't want anyone getting into trouble! ;)
Yeah that's an old story (the original post, not Brian's), there was one on local news too about the street racing RS that resulted in the driver been killed. The court case is reaching it's climax I believe (his mate who he was racing is been blamed for CDBDD)
Need someone a bit in the know here, basically Renault been Renault decided to change the wiring in Clio's manufactured from January 2005 onwards, resulting in all the audio adaptors currently on the market being useless. I am wanting to get my head up display and steering controls to function...
Ok so this is pretty useless without pictures but today's mods include,
Small external Clio Sport sticker applied to rear window.
New rear bumper fitted. (thanks Rich)
New front foglight fitted to replace the cracked one.
Also fixed the drivers seat of my brother in laws Extreme 3 as it...
The offset is the problem not the PCD. We need the offset figure, it will be stamed into the wheel on the rear somewhere, then we can determine the size of spacer needed to correct it.
when the fuel light comes on the display goes to - - - - because people would rely on the reading before filling up. It is only an indication, not a guarantee of how many miles untill you run out.
You have faaaaaaar too much time on your hands Rich ;) but stunning as always, and as above good guide as I wouldn't know what to use on some of the trims/plastics etc.
Probably a loose connection at the rear of the airbag on the steering wheel. But it could be a few things really, not 100% familiar with the Mk1 ph3 sorry.
