My last Clio, all mods decalred increased my premium by about £80 p/year. That's tints, lowered, alloys, colourcoded, IK etc etc...

Basically bought a new fog light to replace my cracked one from Ebay. Paid £9.99 and then £8.00 for delivery (:eek:) The advert clearly stated all items were sent out on Wednesday which was fair enough because I presumed I'd have it Thurs/Fri to fit at the weekend. Nowhere however did the seller...

my g/f's did this (although not a clio) tried changing crank sensor to no avail, in the end it turned out to be water in the wiring/connections to the sensor. Her splash guard at the front of the car was missing hence the sensor getting piss wet through. Not sure if yours is a similar issue?

It is possible with the older (pre 2005) Clio's and a Sony unit. The problem seems to be that none of the leads are compatible with the newer (2005+) Clio's for whatever reason. I have no idea of the reason but I watched my fittter try atleast 3/4 different leads that were all for Sony/Clio...

Poor earth, take the drivers side rear cluster out and check the main earthing point to the body of the car.

HG2K5, is there anything you're happy with in your Clio? ;) It's very simple, you have 2 positive feeds to the interior light, one from the door locking and one from the door switches. Swap the 2 feeds over and the door switch will operate the Map light instead of the main light.
