I think that red on the 172 is the best for a standard car but doesnt look so good when you add bits.
Theres only one way to find out i guess, any photoshop masters around?
Yeah the ugly max power one built with a crap Qvale chassis, an overused and lazy ford V8, a bad gearbox...i know im being negative but its going to be a hell of a job to make the production car any good. What porsche owner is going to get something as brash as that?
Its £160 not including vat..there are other companies who have the spoiler, prima might have it actually but if you buy a max power and have a look in the ads youll see other places. I dont mind saving up that bit longer for quality though.
Is the trophy the V6 style spoiler? A mechanic has...
Im not really talking about the handling, though they are far too heavy for a 2 seater sports car. My car sounds just as good and whats that scoop on the bonnet for, its horrid. I think the 355 is my fave, closely followed by an F40 and the Dino.
I think the offical figure was 6.5, admittedly maybe they can go a bit lower than that but remember equivalent powered cars (it has 220ps standard)albeit without 4WD do 0-60 in 6.5-6.7.
The 4wd is out of date, remember much older than the car itself, any scooby would dance round it.
When my dad had an alfa we went to italian meets, one time a bloke brought a jota and had an arguement with someone who was saying it was a fake!
Id prefer a top secret skyline myself
P1s do look really good! I could cope with a 22B as well..
cupsize - I did see it, i get EVO on subscription. Wasnt it like a few tenths between them? I didnt rate the tester anyway, in fact none of them have seem to have much history in driving though it is a great mag, witty, great photos...
I know an ex-jota spec (not one of the genuine 12 but modifiedt o same spec)owner, they had 600bhp and actually werent road legal, so many reside in collections. They still handled like dogs and there wasnt even a rear view mirror as you couldnt see out the back at all!
Cant say ive seen any...
lol, i saw the espace at goodwood, mad, and the driver even madder, properly went for it!
Not sure why people are putting up diablos, id only get one for the noise but the zonda and vanquish beat it at that too, wouldnt fancy all the small dick jokes either!!
Dash - theyre not as different as you think and ive driven both at brands hatch on the same day, 172s better as its more tailhappy and ultimately more adjustable, but the cup is gorgeous..
I agree with JonC, from what ive read there is no differences engine wise
You get used to it and start to enjoy it, car testers dont spend enough time to appreciate the versatility of it. Our M3 has an SMG 2 gearbox which was at first annoying but then having an auto when you cant be arsed is useful and the down changes are so satisfying!! If your that bothered though...
I still havent checked mine as its raining!
Im as worried as some of the others though, a mayonnaise colour usually means a blown head gasket, though i think i would of noticed..
Nope cossie does it in 6.5 and top speed of 140mph. I was suprised that EVO got 5.9 out of the RS Focus, i also saw another test with 6.6 as the time, i wonder if they upped the press cars bhp??
Thanks Fred, i might go down the same route as yourself then. I did mean the pictures! The ones up the top are much bigger, your car looks mean!
Do PI and Apex make shocks to go with the springs? Has anyone got better bushes or anything else?
I like the spoiler, typically my stupid dealer didnt even tell me about any of those kind of options so i think ill get a Koncept rear spoiler from K-tec instead

Maybe a twisty track but at the end of the day the V6 is mid engined and has more power so as long as the driver doesnt spin it theyre safe!
JonL - The cup is just as fast as a cossie in a straight line, its also better round the twisties.
She liked the minis engine, ahhh! I laughed when...
There will be a vanquish on the drive soon...shame it wont be mine :(
Id have to go for the Zonda S, it looks and sounds amazing and from what ive heard its quite useable and has a good chassis. I guess id get a mac too but ive heard it doesnt handle that well so id take the zonda in...
I doubt the cup is quicker than the V6 around a track.
I really enjoyed the programme, the cossie looked fab but i thought the cup looked just as good! Around a wet track the cossie is of course going to be better being 4wd and the rally car ride made it a bit bias! The problem with the cossie...
Ive seen that picture on the gallery and it looks sh*t but those pictures are great!
Where do you go to get tracking sorted..halfords or something?
Can you lower them 60mm with 17s??
