The 172 doesnt need a spoiler at all, its purely cosmetic. It would cost a lot to develop and where would all the gizmos go? The porsche is rear engined, so at least it serves a purpose.

Whys that lancer got no rear spoiler? Is that some kind of j-spec model? It only makes sense to take it off if your doing high speed runs

Supposedly thrashing from the start will improve performance of the car, but on the otherhand it might not last as long. I think it would be an idea to be in the middle, just drive conservatively for a while.
