The finance at renault is very good, id get that, though i bought my car outright. Think you have to be 19 for free insurance but make sure you ask, they tried doing it for me and couldnt, but im 17 so you should give it a go. As mike said, ask your dealer.
Driving in accordance to conditions is the main thing. Traction control and ESP are worthwile. Seatbelts were made a compulsary addition, people didnt think they needed them at first but it saves lives so he cares about how good a driver somebody is. ABS, traction control and the like should...
hmm, well surely that would mean some backboxes fit in that criteria, and so dont give gains? Fitting a sport backbox is likely to decrease torque as much as it increases power. Im not saying this is the case for all of them, but enough. Same with cats. Most modern cats dont restrict much...
I doubt Sappire cossies do 150mph, my dads midly tuned alfa gtv left one for dead on the M11 a few years back (in 5th and 6th) and the alfa did 155 max. Untuned ones would probably be struggling to get all 220bhp considering their age.
Tuned ones fair enough, but whats the point in comparing...
Wait a second cupsize is right, many exhaust systems will give you less power. Even the ones who dont will probably give you more power top end and less torque. Its important to choose a system carefully.
As noise goes, a bigger exhaust doesnt mean louder. On aston martin db7s vantages there...
You mean carbon fibre? I might get it carbon skinned by them, im not going to be the one who gets charged development costs for full on carbon one though! Though you can buy that stuff in reels anyway cant you?
Im still interested to know if normal car paint will be ok to use in the engine...
lol, well i saw a clio which had its normal grille painted silver and it looked cool. I just hope it doesnt chip easily, anyone know where you can get that protective film from which you can put over your paintwork? I saw some in a max power a long time ago...
Has anyone got this grille on their clio yet?

Ive just ordered one and was wondering if anyone had pics of it on a black clio??
Cheers,

As a drivers car the 306 gti-6 rallye is better than a 172, easily. Havent driven a normal GTI-6. They were one of the last old school hot hatches, worth driving if you ever get a chance. Performance isnt everything.. Though still, again, a 172 is still the better overall owners pacakge.

The more important thing is traction control.
Thing is lads its not too hard to just slow down while all this weather carrys on, then no one will have to worry in the first place!
The VTS is a very good car but the 172/cup has it beaten in every area, i cant see how youd be dissapointed. If you like your old skool hot hatches..the cup will be right up your street. The 172 is the all round package however. Obvious comparison cars are the CTR which in my opinion havent got...
