no, more likely a trapped cable behind the H/U which shorts when you go over the bumps. Take H/U out, check for damaged cables, tape up to repair then gently slide everything back in taking care not to trap any cables.

Right, I understand the offsets and how it's worked out/measured etc etc... My question is this, if you have some, say ET45 wheels and you add say 5mm spacers does this make the offset ET40 or ET50?? I was sure it was ET40 but I've just been thinking about it and talked myself out of it! lol! :S
