yep, think there must have been a couple of drops that escaped me  Ah well will try again later in week but impressed with the diamond. And nope, no carbon yet mate ;)
this is what I mean mate...it's only 2 or 3 spots. Will do it again when it's not so dark :rasp:
there's little marks, one on the i and one where the c meets the l
cheers guys :approve: Clio badge is about to go back on now, although the paint seems to have not settled on it correctly in places for some reason :dapprove:
well managed to get the rear boot lock assembly apart and sprayed it to match the wheels and door badges.
Here's the results peeps, sorry it's a bit dark outside :o
Oh and the 'Clio' badge is inside drying, waiting to be fitted
:rasp:
Cheers peeps :approve:
Mark, just trying the anthracite out for the minute as I don't want the badge to 'disappear' into my grill. Still want it visible so it doesn't look like it's missing ;) but as we've spoke about earlier I'm doing the rear one anthracite too then I'll see how things look...
dick, basically yes although you need the headlights, the ballasts, starter packs and the bulbs. The 182 headlights (or 172) are a direct replacement for standard ones. I haven't yet got mine fitted but will keep you posted on any problems mate.
Patrick, those would give a continuous blue...
Yeah Mitch I knew that ;)
Polarbert, No I don't live in Ireland, you don't have to inorder to posess an Irish plate ;)
Think I'm gonna go for a 172/182 front bumper (instead of CC'ing) then see how the plates look. It's no biggie if I decide to swap them back :approve:
they will be blueish and probably brighter (illegal) but will not fool people 'in the know' into thinking they're HID mate. Look at it this way, it's like fitting alloy-look hub caps onto your steel wheels and then people (from a distance) thinking you've got alloys. :clown: Not the look I would...
cheers guys, more clean pics will follow tomo plus my badge design will be complete (hopefully!) ;)
this is how it looked with shitty white plates and shiny reno front diamond...
he asked for opinions on the car, not his lifestyle or whether he does or doesn't live with his f**king mum! I live with my mum, your stereotypical view been what exactly...??  :quiet:
not necessarily because the alloys I'm on are ET45 whereas standard offset is ET37.5. So with 5mm spacers on it brings it closer to ET40, therefore closer to my standard offset and reducing the strain on the bearing surely??
