mine was a 2001 Y reg Mk1 done 32k miles French import. good condition. Insurance paid out £9200 last month after i wrote it off. Hope that helps

I lost the back end of my Mk1 172 at the start of July. Damp road, hit a small rut. Just enough to unsettle the car. next thing I knew the car was bouncing off the hedgerow and trees. My insurance company (Directline) have paidup and Im lucky enough to be driving another 172.

Any ideas how to adjust the sensitivity of the interior sensors. Mine spent most of the week end going off for no apparent reason. Windows shut and no bugs inside the car. Cheers for any help Craig

Sorry to hear of your problem. 1 bit of good news though. Youll only lose 2 yrs NCB. I wrote my 172 off and like you didnt have protected NCB. Hope you get it sorted soon.
